Cornus kousa — Strawberry Dogwood
A fairly uncommon late-Victorian introduction from the Far East.
The opposite leaves are longer than those of Common Dogwood, and tend to hang. The four-bract flowers are striking in early summer, as are the magenta strawberry-like fruit.
