Cupressus arizonica — (Smooth Arizona Cypress)

The type tree is rare, but cultivars of the f. glabra form, introduced at the beginning of the 20th century, are common in gardens.

The leaves are bright grey with white resin dots, in three-dimensional sprays. The yellow male flowers are prominent. The cones are round and smaller than those of other true cypresses.
