Pterocarya x rehderiana — Hybrid Wingnut

A late-19th century hybrid between Caucasian and Chinese Wingnuts.

The alternate leaves are intermediate, with a grooved leaf-stalk, as are the fruit which have roundish but downward-pointing wings.
