Ulmus ‘Sapporo Autumn Gold’
A recent hybrid and one of a number of small-leaved Asiatic species which are resistant to Dutch Elm Disease.
The alternate leaves are scarcely asymmetric. The buds are dumpy and a little hairy. The flowers emerge in spring from the globular flower buds characteristic of elms.
